Hello, friends! My internship and classes are coming to an end, so I finally have time to get outside and have some fun! The neighboring town has a yearly Celtic festival that I’ve wanted to go to for a while now. I only have a couple drops of Celtic blood in me, so I was mostly just going because I really enjoy the music and food. 😉 Continue reading
Hello friends! I haven’t done a favorites post in a while, but I really wanted to show you some of the things I’ve been loving in February! I may end up making favorites posts a regular thing. Anyways, let’s dive right in.
It’s been about a month since my last blog post. I’ve become the student teacher in a special needs kindergarten class, and it has consumed pretty much all of my life. I leave the house at 6:45 a.m., and I don’t get home until about 5 p.m. (It’s a +1 school, so student dismissal isn’t until 3:30). Once I’m home, I have to work on my college assignments and lesson planning – so I really don’t get any free time until about 8 p.m. I absolutely love my job, and I am so excited to teach every single morning! However, this requires a lot of energy, and for a while my excitement towards blogging faded. Continue reading
Hello, my lovely friends! I can’t believe 2017 is already here.. Between school and travel, 2016 zipped by. There were also many rough things that happened over the last year, but they challenged me and helped me grow. Political issues made me want to rip my hair out, but they also helped me determine what my values are. My first semester of my senior year stressed me out so badly, but it helped prepare me to be a special needs teacher more than any previous semester. Let’s hope 2017 will be just as fulfilling!
For today’s post, I want to outline some of my New Years resolutions, as well as post my usual monthly goals. Let’s dive in! Continue reading
At the beginning of each month, I write a blog post that outlines all of the goals that I want to accomplish throughout the month. This could be anything from reading 3 books on my Goodreads list, to skydiving! This month will be a little different. Instead of having 5-6 large-ish goals, I will make a checklist with many Christmas related goals. I might not be able to get all of them done, but I would like to attempt as many as I can. I encourage you to comment some goals to add! Continue reading
Yesterday, I went to my favorite Disney park with my mom and siblings: Epcot! I don’t go to Disney all that often, and it was was a special time. I want to share some of the photos & experiences of the day with you all. 🙂
Whew! What a month! Between my final projects coming to a close at school, to my wisdom teeth complications (I’m getting them all taken out next week), it’s been a whirlwind of a month. A lot of things caught me off guard, but I still managed to meet my goals that I set up a few weeks ago. Let’s take a look at how things went. 🙂
