Hello friends! I hope you are all having a wonderful New Year. I have been spending this morning preparing for a huge move! I currently live in Florida, but I will be moving up north in a week. I’m used to having 60 degree winters, but I’ll soon be surrounded by snow. That just seems so crazy to me! Anyways, I need to make sure my skin is prepared for this change. I used to have extremely oily skin, and I never worried about moisturizing it. However, over the last year my skin has changed. Most of my face is still very oily, but now my forehead is as dry as a desert and has sprouted some fine lines. Over the last week, I have been using Oz Naturals Super Youth Retinol Moisturizer to hydrate my skin, and prep it for cold weather. I was surprised to see some pretty awesome results in just one week! Let’s take a look at my experience.

I was quite excited to collaborate with Oz Naturals for an Instagram photo, because I was actually looking at retinol moisturizers just a few days prior. The problem I kept running into was that they were either too expensive, or were chock full of ingredients that I knew weren’t really good for my skin. This Super Youth Retinol Moisturizer is actually affordable at only $19,95 for a huge 4 oz bottle, and it is 98.6% natural. It contains ingredients such as Vitamin C to boost collagen production, Vitamin B5 to attract and hold moisture, Shea Butter to nourish your skin, and Hyaluronic acid to hydrate and soften the skin.
I was very excited to try this moisturizer, and I had read glowing reviews online. I am usually hesitant to trust reviews that are on brands’ websites, so I looked up the product on Amazon as well. It has over 1,800 reviews and the majority are 5 star ratings! I couldn’t wait to see what made this moisturizer so special.
I have been using this every morning and night for one week, and I am already seeing results. I was not expecting to see anything so quickly, but I think my fine lines were new enough that a hydration boost filled them out. Here is a before picture, where you can see numerous fine lines near the top of my forehead:
And here they are one week later, after 14 applications of the Super Youth Retinol Moisturizer:
There is no doubt in my mind that this moisturizer is what reduced my fine lines. They are still there, but there is a drastic improvement! The only thing I didn’t like about the Super Youth Retinol Moisturizer was the smell. It smells sweet at first, but there is a sour note underneath. I’m not sure what ingredient is contributing to that smell, but it makes me gag a little. However, it fades a way quickly. In my opinion, the results make putting up with the smell worth it.
My skin reacted well to the moisturizer. I did not have any more pimples than usual this week, and I did not get any sort of rash. However, I would advise you to test this out on a small section of your skin and wait 24 hours before proceeding. This is the best way to test if you are sensitive to the product, without having to go through an awful breakout!
Overall, I really loved this product. At the end of the week, my skin looks radiant and hydrated. I will continue to use this morning and night until I use up the whole bottle, and I think I will probably purchase another one. I give this product a rating of 4.5/5. It would be a full 5 if it smelled better!
I hope you found this review useful! What is your favorite moisturizer?
