A few months ago, I wrote a blog post praising the Too Face Born This Way foundation. It worked great with my oily, cystic acne prone skin and made my skin look and feel wonderful. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them [Movie Review]

When I was about 6 or 7 years old, J.K. Rowling released two Hogwarts textbooks: Quidditch through the Ages, and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. I was already a devout Harry Potter fan, having read The Sorcerer’s Stone and The Chamber of Secrets at a young age. My favorite of the two textbooks was definitely Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. I remember poring over those textbooks countless times, wishing that the mythical creatures were real and chuckling to myself over Harry’s and Ron’s notes in the page margins. Continue reading

Vegetarian Thanksgiving Menu

I was chatting with a vegetarian friend of mine, and she said something that really stood out to me: Thanksgiving is one of her least favorite holidays, because she can’t touch half the food on the table. It makes for a very awkward situation with her family, and she just doesn’t like it. I decided to compile some delicious vegetarian Thanksgiving recipes, to help out everybody who might be in a similar situation. November Goals

Hello, friends! About this time every year, I start freaking out about how much I have yet to accomplish. The end of the year is in sight, and I go through a mini-existential crisis. This is part of the reason why I started my monthly goal series; at the end of the year, I want to read back through my blog and see that I actually have done things! I’ve gone skydiving,  made international friends, learned quite a bit of German, and so much more. Let’s see what I can get done in November. 🙂 Continue reading
